PlayStation 3 (PS3) gamers will soon be able to Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.

Both Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories are basically the PS2 versions, but now they are all set to become available digitally on the PlayStation Network (PSN) to allow gamers to enjoy the games on the PS3.

Electronics giant Sony is also working on a Google Glass-type computing glasses, emerging reports suggest.

Sony has reportedly got patent number 20130069850 for an apparatus called the head-mounted display. It is said to be a continuation from the company's patent filed in the years 2008 and 2009.

The patented device has been described as a head-mounted display apparatus that includes an image display tool, a wearing tool with which the image display device is worn on the observer's head, and an add-on member with which the image display tool is attached to the wearing tool.

Sudden teasers from Sony Japan cropped up recently, about a forthcoming online, streamed event which would focus completely on Sony's PlayStation Vita console; and would be held at 3am ET on Monday, February 18.

The information which the page teasing the online, streamed event unfolds is that Sony would be unveiling fresh details about the PlayStation Vita on Monday, February 18th at 5pm Tokyo time. The presenter of the upcoming event would be Hiroshi Kawano, the President of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan.

Acclaimed electronic giant Sony yesterday introduced the world to its new, ultra-slim Android-based tablet dubbed the Xperia Tablet Z.

The Xperia Tablet Z runs Google's Android 4.1 mobile operating system, and comes equipped with a full-HD 10.1-inch screen that offers a resolution of 1920 by 1200 pixels. It has Qualcomm's 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, an 8.1-megapixel camera on its rear. According to a recent revelation by a hacker, who goes by the handle Hellcat, Sony PlayStation 3 can automatically grab content IDs from the PlayStation Network account of the users, if the console is connected to the company's new PlayStation Vita handheld gaming system which was launched in the US and Europe last month.

As per Hellcat, the automatic grabbing of content IDs by the PS3, when it is connected to Vita, implies that Sony will be able to nullify content on the systems irrespective of when it was acquired.
