Microsoft Gears Up for Windows Phone 7 Launch

Microsoft is releasing its Windows Phone 7 later in this year with the optimism that consumers will welcome the smartphone from the Company. The Company has included Web content and all the applications into a subject –specific Hubs series.

It is expected that Microsoft will have a huge marketing campaign for the promotion of Windows Phone 7, with the involvement from the third party developers, as well.

Earlier, this month on July 12, it had also launched a Tools Beta Windows Phone Developer. Through this developer, Microsoft aims to induce game and business focused developers to have an interest in Windows Phone 7. In order to do that the Company will offer cash and some other guidance to its developers.

“We are investing heavily in the developer community by offering as many resources as we can to help them be successful on our platform”, said a Microsoft Spokesperson to eWEEK.

Microsoft Chief Operating Officer, Kevin Turner during the worldwide Partner Conference on July 14 expressed his views about the irritation caused in the users because of windows vista. He, referring to Apple, said that may be iPhone 4 is Apple’s vista.

Because of the complaints from the users, Microsoft had to release a new update of its windows, as Windows 7 in October 2009. Since then, the users have preferred to have Windows 7 and it proving itself as a good alternate for vista and XP, both.
