It has been reported that thousands of people registered online to become one of the lucky persons, who will host the Oprah’s new Your OWN Show.

According to the procedure, the Company will choose five contestants from those thousands through online voting. The voting will continue till July 3.

The Company informed that they will telecast the show next year and the same will be created by Mark Burnett.

Till now, two persons, named Phyllis Wick-Turner and Zach Anner have received the maximum votes.

Wick-Turner, who is also an university lecturer, always aspired to become a TV actress. She gave a sneak peek into the lives of teachers and how they spend their role in classroom, during her audition.

On the other hand, the other guy is Anner who is 25 years old and is suffering from Cerebral Palsy. His audition video received quiet an overwhelming response from all the people on the internet.

However, this system of online voting is now facing some problems, as the people are saying that OWN is manipulating the people in order to vote more and more for Wick-Turner, since there is widespread racism.

A representative from the OWN has denied all the allegations and informed that the voting is fair and without any partiality.

He said, "We are conducting compliance reviews and we are investigating the allegations”.
