Bernie Nolan Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

The famous singer and actress Bernie Nolan has confirmed that she is suffering from breast cancer and states that she is all set to fight back against it.

She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and since then, the 49-year-old is going through mastectomy and chemotherapy.

Bernie has dedicated 20 years of her life singing along with her sisters, before she finally stepped in to television. She belongs to Dublin. She has many television serials in her kitty, she appeared in Brookside and played the character, named Sergeant Sheelagh Murphy in the Bill, she has starred in various reality shows.

She said, “Although it had been difficult telling her 10-year-old daughter, Erin, about the diagnosis, her daughter had also given her the strength to fight the disease. The best thing about having a child is I have the extra strength because I want to see her grow up and I have to be strong for her."

Even her sisters faced the disease but they have successfully beaten the disease and are not endangered with it, any more. The group of sisters is called as The Nolan Sisters.
