Panasonic Offers HD 3D TVs

Panasonic has initiated with its attempt to join the growing list of TV manufacturers, with the offering of full high-definition (HD) 3D TV programmes with its Viera VT20 series.

The new launch will be available in 50-inch and 58-inch models, the VT20 plasma TV that features a stunning dynamic contrast of 5,000,000:1, offering its viewers with deep and rich details.

With its 600Hz sub-field drive; you get fast, smooth and sharp HD moving images.

The VT20 operates on frame sequential method where separate full HD images are displayed alternately for the left and right eye.

The 3D eyewear that accompanies the set, is posted to open the left and right shutter in sync in order to facilitate high-quality full HD 3D effect. However, the VT20 will not feature 2D to 3D upscaling.

The pricing has not been detailed as of now, but the VT20 will be revealed to hit the stores here in the third quarter this year.

In addition, Panasonic has announced to launch four other Viera plasma TVs and six LCD TVs this week.
