Google-owned YouTube has announced that people were uploading 24 hours of video onto the video-sharing site every minute.
Earlier in May, the company had announced that 20 hours of video were being uploaded onto the site every minute.
YouTube has described the achievement as a big success.
Hunter Walk from YouTube said in a blog, "A day's worth of content uploaded to YouTube every minute is a big achievement for our community and speaks to the role video plays in connecting and changing the world one upload at a time.”
The increase in video uploading will definitely help YouTube as it can earn more by placing more ads on more videos.
YouTube has become an admired place for companies, political leaders, celebrities and the like to directly connect with millions of users around the world.
California-based Google had acquired YouTube in 2006 in a deal worth $1.65 billion.
