Twitter to hire staff to create new products and enhance security

Social networking site Twitter is mulling over hiring new professionals to create new products and boost site’s security.

Twitter has plans to add as many as 27 new professionals to its current 120 staff.

The Micro-blogging site said, “Twitter is looking for new members of our technical staff to work on cutting edge monetisation projects”

The company wants new employees to posses experience in advertising applications as they will be asked to focus on creating Twitter front-end features.

Twitter also wants proficient worker for maintaining a platform to help developers in media companies to create new integrations with the site. Another expert is wanted to promote media professionals to make use of the tools.

In addition, Twitter had plans to employ new professionals to enhance security.

It should be noted here that earlier in November, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone said that 2010 would be a revenue year for the company.
