Apple's WWDC an instant hit
Apple's WWDC an instant hit

Apple has announced that it will be holding its annual Worldwide Developer's Conference in the month of June this year. And the site for the same has been finalized as San Francisco. While it is still early, all the tickets for the event have been sold out.

Main idea behind starting the event is that Apple wants to connect itself to all the third party developer ecosystems and will also be showcasing its own new developments.

The ticket for the same has been sold at as high as $1599 and the whole venue was sold out in just 12 hours. One of the reasons cited for the same is that it comes with a double-focus "the “future of iOS and Mac OS". This reason was given by Apple senior vice president Phil Schiller during a press conference and the revelation was made during the early part of Monday itself.

It is not for the first time that the WWDC has been sold out. Speedy sale of its tickets are nothing new. But such a fast sale out has never happened before. During 2010, it took eight days for the whole hall to get booked.
