Microsoft has delayed the launch of its Windows Mobile 7 up till next year end. The operating system is losing its market share in hands of its rivals, and the delay can make the situation worse.
Microsoft UK head of mobility Phil Moore confirmed the delay of the Windows Mobile system at the Connect technology summit in London, asserting that the launch has "been put back until late next year but it is definitely coming".
The newly released Windows Mobile 6.5 which was a hit in market is creating some space for the new mobile OS which will be released sooner next year, but the rivals as Apple and Google have started stealing the show.
Mr. Phil Moore, however, is very confident of Windows Mobile 7 launch and claims that it would have all that consumers dream of, making it highly flexible. "You're going to see a lot more on Windows Mobile 7", he shared.
